I have a therapeutic philosophy that growth is the belief that everyone possesses inner strengths and resources necessary for healing. I believe the healing journey is a partnership that is rooted in trust and I am dedicated to empowering individuals to discover their inner strength and resilience. I employ evidence-based practices with a solution-focused, trauma-informed approach. I encourage my clients to explore their innate abilities and resilience, empowering them to find their paths to their recovery. Rather than dwelling solely on past experiences, I collaborate with my clients to create growth with healing solutions and setting achievable goals for the future.
I believe healing must address the mind, body, and spirit. I integrate holistic with evidence-based practices into therapy, to guide my clients in understanding the interconnectedness of their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being that encompasses the whole person. Working as a team, I incorporate trauma-informed evidence-based practices with a whole-person, solution-focused, and intuitive approach to the healing process.
I was originally born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Moving to Arizona in 2007 I found my calling to become an advocate for the human experience. I am a Master's level social worker in the State of Arizona, licensed with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults within the behavioral health and human services field, specializing in trauma and resilience. I have a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, a Masters in Social Work, and a Masters in Healthcare Administration.
